Reel Deal Tacos was born from a shared love of the ocean, fresh seafood, and sun-soaked summers. Brenda Bueno grew up on the waters of Miami, learning the art of fresh, simple meals from her father, Captain David Bueno. Bob Thomas met Brenda’s family during a life-changing summer helping restore their fishing boat, The Reel. Years later, after travels and new adventures, Brenda and Bob reconnected through their passion for locally sourced food and coastal living.

After weathering storms—both literal and figurative—they found their way to San Diego, fell in love with the city’s vibrant flavors, and brought their dream to life: a food truck serving the freshest fish tacos and organic produce, straight from the dock to your plate.
